STARS aims to support the integration of young people aged 16-25 from disadvantaged backgrounds into the labor market by equipping youth workers with the essential non-formal knowledge, skills, and methodologies needed to effectively guide and mentor them during their transition into employment and develop a mentorship programme in each country for the youth at risk.
Objectives
- Equip 21 youth workers (7 per partner country) with the necessary tools and skills for increasing the employability of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds into the labour market, through a dedicated toolkit for youth workers and a 5-days training course.
- Enhance employability skills of 90 young people from 3 countries (30 per country) with fewer opportunities through a comprehensive mentorship program per country.
- Develop the organizational capacity of participating organizations to address the employability needs of disadvantaged young people.
